Number two: Have a meal each day as a family.
Each day, it is important to sit down as a family and eat together. This can look different for every family, it could be breakfast or dinner or whatever works for you. Simply having one meal with your spouse and kids every day gives you time to enjoy each other and talk. Family is very important and food is an easy way to continuously connect with them.
Number three: Make enough for leftovers.
Try to always make some extra dinner so that you can have leftovers the next day. It can take out some preparation time and create a healthy snack for your kids! Having some leftover dinner can cut out an unhealthy option that might be picked out with no other option.
